General Terms of Use for the Monaco MEDIAX Video Platform
1. Objectives of the Video Platform
The primary objectives of the Monaco MEDIAX video platform are to facilitate access to competition programs by offering secure streaming of Official Selection programs and public screenings to authorized members. The platform also aims to provide promotional resources, such as high-definition images and promotional videos for official communications of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival. Additionally, it enables the submission and management of videos as part of the Golden Nymph Awards competition.
2. Categories of Available Content
The platform offers various categories of content, including promotional images and videos available for download. These include participant interviews, Golden Nymph Awards ceremonies, red carpet events, photocalls, and side events. Furthermore, edited clips, such as daily highlights titled "Best of," are also available for download. Official Selection and public screening programs are available exclusively via streaming for the authorized members. Competition programs, however, are available exclusively via streaming for members of the pre-selection committee and jury.
3. Access and Registration
Access to the platform is strictly reserved for authorized members, including members of the pre-selection committee, the jury, accredited press, and other entities authorized by Monaco MEDIAX. The registration process requires users to sign up via their account, subject to validation by the Monte-Carlo Television Festival team. Users must provide accurate and complete information, failing which their access may be suspended or revoked. All videos of the platform will be accessible for 1 year. The video platform will be cleaned for each new edition of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival.
4. Security of Access
Access security is ensured through personal and non-transferable login credentials. Any attempt to gain unauthorized access or share credentials will be considered a violation of these terms.
5. Conditions of Video Use
Competition programs are available exclusively for online viewing in a format designed to prevent interruptions. Any attempt to download, capture, or reproduce videos is strictly prohibited. Promotional content, including images and videos, is available for download for non-commercial use, provided it includes the mandatory credit: "FESTIVAL DE TÉLÉVISION DE MONTE-CARLO." Any commercial or unauthorized use requires prior written approval from Monaco MEDIAX.
6. Technical Specifications
Uploaded videos for the Competition, must comply with specific technical requirements, including a resolution of 800x450 pixels, a frame rate of 25 frames per second, an H.264 (MPEG-4) video codec with a maximum bitrate of 1 Mbit/s, and an AAC stereo audio codec at 48 kHz with a maximum bitrate of 128 kbit/s. Files that do not meet these specifications will be automatically rejected.
The videos provided by the Monte-Carlo Television Festival are downloadable in high-definition with the following technical specification: 1920x1080, H.264, MPEG-4 AAC, 48000 Hz.
To ensure an optimal experience, users are encouraged to have a stable connection for downloading content and to keep their browser up-to-date for streaming. In case of technical issues, users should check firewall or security settings and contact the support team via the assistance form available on the platform.
7. Intellectual Property and Copyright
All content available on the platform is protected by intellectual property laws. Users agree not to reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit the content without express authorization.
8. Non-Compliance with Terms
In case of non-compliance with these terms, Monaco MEDIAX reserves the right to suspend or terminate platform access and initiate legal proceedings in cases of illicit or fraudulent use.
9. Changes to Terms of Use
Monaco MEDIAX reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be informed of any changes via email or notifications on the platform. Continued use of the platform after modifications implies acceptance of the new terms.
